Your Canvass Global dashboard is the central hub for managing your cameras, viewing footage requests, tracking rewards, and controlling your privacy settings. This guide will help you navigate and make the most of your dashboard features.

Dashboard Overview

When you log in to your account, you’ll see different dashboard options based on your role:

  • Camera Owners: Manage cameras, respond to footage requests, track rewards
  • Law Enforcement: Search for cameras, submit footage requests, manage cases

Main Navigation

Your dashboard includes the following main sections:

  • Dashboard: Overview of your account activity and statistics
  • My Cameras: Manage all your registered cameras
  • Footage Requests: View and respond to footage requests
  • Special Offers: Access rewards and compensation information

Managing Footage Requests

The Footage Requests section shows:

  • Pending Requests: New requests awaiting your response

Tip: Set up notifications to receive instant alerts when new footage requests arrive. You can configure these in your Settings.

Law Enforcement Dashboard

Camera Search Tools

Find relevant cameras using:

  • Filter Options: Filter by camera type, coverage area, or availability

Request Management

Track your footage requests through different stages:

  • Draft: Requests being prepared
  • Submitted: Sent to camera owners
  • Approved: Owner has approved access

  • Expired/Denied: Unsuccessful requests

For Camera Owners

  1. Responding to Requests:
    • Click on the request to view details

  2. Managing Privacy:
    • Toggle camera availability on/off
    • Set blackout periods

For Law Enforcement
