Copyright Policy
Canvass Global, a division of Udora Technologies Inc. (“Canvass Global,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This Copyright Policy outlines the procedures for addressing claims of copyright infringement on our platform and services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available on or through our Services infringes your copyright or the copyright of someone on whose behalf you are authorized to act, please send a notice of claimed copyright infringement (“Notice”) to our designated Copyright Agent. Your Notice must include the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works;
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that is allegedly infringed.
Our designated Copyright Agent to receive Notices is:
Copyright Agent
Canvass Global
123 Main Street
Toronto, ON M5V 1A1
Email: copyright@canvassglobal.com
You may submit your Notice to our Copyright Agent by email or mail. Please note that if you fail to comply with all of the requirements above, your Notice may not be valid.
2. Counter-Notification
If content you posted was removed as a result of a Notice and you believe that your content was wrongfully removed, you may file a written counter-notification (“Counter-Notice”) with our designated Copyright Agent. Your Counter-Notice must include the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled;
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of Canada or the United States, for any judicial district in which Canvass Global may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the Notice or an agent of such person.
If we receive a Counter-Notice, we may send a copy of it to the original complaining party informing them that we may replace the removed content or cease disabling it in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider or user, the removed content may be replaced, or access to it restored, in 10 to 14 business days or more after receipt of the Counter-Notice, at our sole discretion.
3. Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are repeatedly charged with infringing the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.
4. Your Copyright Representations
When you upload or post content to our Services, you represent and warrant that:
