How to Register Your Camera

Welcome to Canvass Global! Registering your surveillance camera is a simple process that helps build a safer community while maintaining your privacy and control. This guide will walk you through each step of the registration process.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following information ready:

• Your camera’s physical location (street address)
• Camera make and model information
• Clear photos showing your camera’s field of view
• Your contact information

Step-by-Step Registration Process

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Visit the registration page
2. Enter your contact information:
   • Full name
   • Email address
   • Phone number
   • Create a secure password
3. Agree to the terms of service and privacy policy
4. Click “Continue” to proceed

Step 2: Add Your Camera Location

1. Enter your camera’s physical address
2. Provide additional location details:
   • Unit/Suite number (if applicable)
   • Installation type (residential, commercial, etc.)
   • Property type
3. Confirm the location on the interactive map
4. Click “Continue” to proceed

Step 3: Camera Details

1. Enter your camera information:
   • Camera name (for your reference)
   • Make and model
   • Installation date
   • Recording capabilities (video/audio)
   • Coverage area description
2. Upload photos showing your camera’s field of view:
   • Daytime view (required)
   • Nighttime view (optional)
   • Different angles if camera moves
3. Set your privacy preferences

Step 4: Review Terms and Sign Agreement

1. Review the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
2. Understand your rights and responsibilities
3. Provide your digital signature
4. Click “Complete Registration”

After Registration

Once your camera is registered:

• You’ll receive a confirmation email
• Your camera will appear on your dashboard
• You can manage privacy settings anytime
• You’ll be notified of any footage requests
• You become eligible for the Community Rewards Program

Privacy Controls

You maintain complete control over your camera and footage:

• Approval Required: All footage requests must be approved by you
• Time-based Controls: Set when your camera is available for requests
• Instant Deactivation: Temporarily disable your camera anytime
• Selective Sharing: Choose which requests to approve or deny

Multiple Cameras

If you have multiple cameras:

• Register each camera individually
• Manage all cameras from a single dashboard
• Set different privacy settings for each camera
• Track requests and rewards for each camera separately
